Instrument Summary
WisdomTree Zinc is a fully collateralised Exchange-Traded Commodity (ETC) within UCITS eligibility, crafted to offer investors comprehensive exposure to Zinc futures contracts' total returns. The ETC's objective is to mirror the Bloomberg Zinc Sub Total Return Index (BCOMZSTR) by tracing the Bloomberg Zinc Sub Excess Return Index. It factors in interest revenue while accounting for associated fees and costs.
ΣL Cycle Summary
Although largely excellent in terms of frequency stationarity, this wave in our Zinc proxy has lost a good deal of amplitude over the last few iterations, making the phase estimation somewhat harder. We have downgraded it to a ‘C’ category for this reason although it is still a very good looking signal within the time frequency sample shown below. There is a larger wave around 160 days acting on price too, likely a harmonic of this shorter wave and which is peaking at the time of writing. The next trough of this longer component is expected toward the end of March/early April, in line with the next low of the shorter component. Subscribers may wish to wait for that or a short into it near the start of March.
