ΣL Cycle Summary

Perhaps amongst all the equity indices we cover, the DAX has displayed the most linear rise in this remarkable uptrend since the previous trough of this component around the start of November. That said, it exhibits a slightly higher modulation in frequency than the same wave in the S&P 500, as shown below. Now due a peak, the upcoming period for the down leg of this wave will be fascinating to see. Will amplitude remain within this wave or is the increased amplitude due to a longer wave pushing up? This will be clarified at the next low of this component, due mid January at the current wavelength. Signal upgraded to a ‘B’ category.
